I would like to confirm with you that a member of our school community has tested positive for COVID-19.
NSW Health promptly assessed the situation and advised that there was no impact to our school, the person has not had any close contact with our staff or students and was not involved with any school activities. This is a personal health matter and our thoughts are with the family.
The school is working closely with NSW Health in responding to COVID-19 cases and acts on the expert advice of NSW Health. The school will only take action in accordance with NSW Health advice on a confirmed case of COVID-19 where there has been an impact on our school. All other confirmed cases are a personal matter for those involved and they will be managed directly by NSW Health.
NSW Health reminds anyone who has been unwell or if you develop any symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell/taste, muscle/joint pains, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting or extreme tiredness to be tested at one of the COVID-19 testing clinics.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students is of paramount importance to us at all times. As such we will continue to work closely with NSW Health to ensure that all necessary health advice is adhered to.
Further information about COVID-19 is available on the NSW Government website.
Thank you for your support in this matter.
