Parents and Citicens Association (P&C)
Our Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is made up of parents, carers, and teachers. The P&C meets regularly to contribute to decision-making, developing policies and management plans as well as fundraising.
The Peakhurst South Public School P&C organises fundraisers throughout the school year. Our calendar of events usually includes discos, cake stalls, a Mother's day and Father's day stall and breakfasts, Gingerbread drive, BBQ's, special food days, and raffles.
Over the last few years, we have been able to support the school by:
- subsidising our School Wellbeing officer
- having new netball and basketball rings installed
- funding a dedicated BBQ and serving area
-subsidised the NED Show
-contributed funds towards classroom improvements
The P&C Association, along with the sub-committees, operate the School Canteen, the Uniform Shop and the Band program.
Peakhurst South Public School has its monthly P&C meetings on the last Wednesday of each month, which everyone is welcome to attend. If you aren't able to join us at a meeting but would like to raise a matter please send your message via peakhurstsouthpandc@gmail.com
